Crystal's Mission

Transparency

The office of the Clerk and Comptroller not only serves as the Clerk of the Circuit Court, but also as the County Recorder, Treasurer, Auditor, Chief Finance Officer, and Ex-Officio Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. Transparency and accountability are imperative to maintaining and managing access to the records associated with these duties, while safeguarding and protecting their integrity. My goal is to demonstrate a commitment to openness and accountability for actions and decisions.

Collaboration

The office of the Clerk & Comptroller is responsible for performing a wide range of services that often overlap or involve other governmental agencies and state partners. As such, I believe that open communication and collaboration with other agencies are key to fostering a cohesive approach to governance and maximizing effectiveness and efficiency. Communication with the public is equally important.

Customer Service

I find fulfillment in serving others and I desire a team that does the same. My goal is to implement initiatives that improve customer service by providing training for staff, enhancing online support, and ensuring a user-friendly experience for those interacting with the office. I also want to focus on community outreach and education by developing programs to educate the public about the role of the Clerk and Comptroller and how to navigate the court system.
